Varsity families, we need you to bring desserts for pregame meals if at all possible. They can be dropped off at Lynne Showers home. Also, Sir Pizza will supply the teams pre game meal before the Columbus game.  Please support Sir Pizza on Game day and they will give back a percentage of your receipt to the team.  Make sure you tell them you are Palmetto Panthers and thanks!

PARENTS we still need your help. Our own PTC Board member, Lynne Showers, is leading by example and has donated to the Platinum Sponsorship.  We know that not everyone can donate at the same level but we hope that parents will send in some type of sponsorship and or advertisement.

We have our very first game of the season on Thursday, August 26 at 4:00 p.m. at Coral Park High School. The school is located at 8865 SW 16 Street.

This is a pre-season game and the boys need your support.   We desperately need parents to bring oranges, bananas or powdered Gatorade for the preseason game.  You can send them with your son to the coaches and trainers or bring to the game or drop off at Lynne's Showers house. Extra Gatorade would be excellent since as we all know this has been the hottest summer in Miami. We need to keep our players hydrated to play.  Please consider any of the items requested and bring something.  If everyone helps we will have more than enough.

PTC is looking forward to seeing every parent at the game in support of our son's and the entire Panther football team

Dear Panther Friends,

Tonight we play Columbus High School at FIU in our first game of the season.  If you volunteered to bring dessert for the team just drop it off at the school before 2 p.m.  The team will have dinner before the game.

We hope to see many families and friends in the stands this evening.  We wanted to also ask for your support of the team if you will be eating out.  Sir Pizza has agreed to provide our football team with a percent of the proceeds from every varsity game night just by stopping by and having dinner.  Please make sure that you tell them you are friends and family of the Palmetto Panther football team and they will automatically give the team a donation.

What could be better, you get to see other families, have a nice meal and support the team all at once!

Good Luck Panthers!

See you at the game,

PTC

Parents, Family, Friends.....Panther Fans

We have received our new Panther Football Team Shirts!  The shirts are absolutely fantastic and only $15.  We have sizes in small, medium, large, x-large, and 2X for sale.  Please show your team spirit and buy your Panther shirt.  Team shirts are just one way of helping out the team.

If you would like to buy a shirt for our game this week please stop by Lynne Shower's house 11801 SW 80th Road, just one block from Palmetto Senior High School.  If you remember, we still need powdered Gatorade for this week's game so please stop by and drop off some if you can to Lynne while buying your new shirt.

 HELP

We continue to struggle with our fund raising on program advertisements.  We have only received ads from a very small group of parents.  The team really needs support from all the parents not just a few.  Some parents believe that public schools should pay for sports programs and while this would be ideal unfortunately it's not realistic.

It's through fund raising and donations that the team receives most of its support.  The Panther Touchdown Club is open to all parents.  We need volunteers.  We need support in fund raising.  It is important to remember that PTC funds are used for all the boys on the team not just for those who parents volunteer or help with fund raising.  We just received the "Spirit Packs" for the students which are paid for exclusively by PTC funds.  The PTC would like to continue to provide the team with all their necessary equipment, food, and drinks but we need your support.

Dear Varsity and Junior Varsity Parents,

As a reminder this year we have elected not to collect player fees to help out our families during these difficult economic times.  Instead we are asking all our players and their families to help us achieve our 2010 PTC Goal of 100% participation in our Panther Football Program.  Most of us know someone that works for a company or owns their own business that would be willing to place an advertisement for a charitable organization.  The PTC is registered as a non-profit organization.  All advertisements are tax deductible.  Placing an ad in the football program is a great way to give back to the community and get your company out there!

Please help us get the word out and support the 2010 Panther Touchdown Club Goal! Attached is the advertisement form for your convenience.  You can send all completed forms or questions to me either at this email or to 8545 SW 148 Terrace, Palmetto Bay, FL 33158.

Remember every advertisement helps!
